On the morning of the 17th, the Pawsitive Park volunteers visited the 4th Primary School of Polichni to bring a fresh wave of creativity and fun to the students. This visit marked a repeat of their successful artistic activities, designed to engage children through performances, nutrition-themed creativity, and musicokinetic exercises inspired by animals. The event started promptly at 9:00 AM and once again proved to be a joyful experience for everyone involved.

Artistic Performances That Captivate

The day began with lively performances that captured the children’s attention and imagination. Volunteers acted out animal characters, miming their voices and movements while keeping rhythm with the music. This musicokinetic activity encouraged students to participate actively, matching animal sounds with beats and gestures. The combination of sound, movement, and rhythm helped children develop coordination and listening skills in a playful setting.

The performances were not only entertaining but also educational. They introduced students to different animal behaviors and sounds, making the learning process dynamic and memorable. The volunteers’ enthusiasm was contagious, and the children responded with laughter and applause, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere.

Creativity Through Nutrition and Art

Following the performances, the volunteers guided the students through a creative workshop involving fruits, dry carbohydrates, and vegetable items. The children designed animal shapes and figures using these healthy ingredients, blending nutrition education with artistic expression. This hands-on activity allowed students to explore textures, colors, and shapes while learning about healthy eating habits.

Volunteers Feel Valued and Energized

The event was a success not only for the students but also for the volunteers. Many expressed how rewarding it was to see their efforts bring smiles and excitement to the children. The chance to repeat the activities at a new school reinforced their sense of purpose and community involvement.

Volunteering in such interactive and creative ways helps build strong connections between the group and the local community. It also provides a platform for volunteers to develop their own skills in teaching, communication, and teamwork. The positive feedback from the school staff and students motivated the team to plan more visits and expand their outreach.

A Morning Full of Learning and Fun

The Pawsitive Park volunteers’ visit to the 4th Primary School of Polichni demonstrated how art, music, and nutrition can come together to create a meaningful educational experience. By combining performances with creative workshops, the event engaged multiple senses and learning styles, making it accessible and enjoyable for all children.

This approach highlights the value of hands-on, interactive learning outside the traditional classroom setting. It also shows how volunteers can play a vital role in supporting education and wellbeing in local schools.
