Green Friday of March 2026 – Announcement of Postponement

The initiative Green Fridays, a dynamic movement promoting sustainable development and environmental awareness, announces the postponement of the upcoming interschool educational activity titled:

“School Garden – Karatasou Park”,originally scheduled for Friday, 27 March 2026.

Due to unfavorable weather conditions and continuous rainfall on the day of the event, and with priority given to the safety and meaningful participation of all attendees, the activity will now take place on:

Monday, 30 March 2026

About the Activity

The action is part of the Green Fridays initiative, held on the last Friday of each month, and focuses on:

• Environmental education within the urban landscape

• Exploring the potential of Karatasou Park for educational activities

• Strengthening environmental awareness and responsibility

• Encouraging students’ connection with nature through experiential learning

Students will have the opportunity to engage in interactive activities that highlight the importance of protecting and preserving the natural environment, while fostering creativity, collaboration, and ecological thinking.
