Online live & recorded discussion with audience interaction
On Thursday, 27 February 2026, from 17:00 to 18:30 (EET), the Green Fridays initiative of ESAI EN ROI invites the public to an open online event dedicated to sustainable development, nature-based practices, education, and the role of youth voice in social and urban transformation.
The event will be livestreamed on YouTube (@YouthCouncilAlliances2771), in English, and will be fully recorded, allowing both live participation and later viewing.
Live interaction & participatory dialogue
Participants will be able to watch, comment, and engage in real time through the live chat, contributing to an open and inclusive discussion.The coordination of the session, moderation of comments, and responses to audience questions will be carried out by ESAEI EN ROI volunteers:

The coordinators act as facilitators of dialogue, ensuring smooth flow, inclusion of diverse perspectives, and meaningful connection between the topics discussed and everyday experiences.
Topics & perspectives
The online discussion will explore:
urban farming models in school environments,
nature-based projects and their contribution to individual and collective well-being,
European Solidarity Corps (ESC) experiences,
local challenges, urban planning, and youth participation,
the role of art, storytelling, and cinema as tools for awareness, expression, and social engagement.
Special emphasis is placed on the active involvement of children and young people through journalistic and narrative approaches, presenting sustainability as a shared, lived experience.
Green Fridays – An initiative in continuous flow
Green Fridays is a monthly participatory initiative, taking place on the last Friday of each month, promoting sustainable development, social empathy, and active citizenship through culture, education, and collaboration.
