Thessaloniki, Greece's vibrant second city, is a treasure trove of history, picturesque landscapes, and a colorful mix of cultures. In the framework of SKYRTHALIA PROJECT our team of volunteers have been trained for taking photos relevant to the urban green status of the city. The exclusive training course of the trainer, that came from Creta especially for this project, was the perfect chance for the project's mission. This course not only teached us how to capture stunning photos of this beautiful city but also inspired us to envision a greener Thessaloniki.
Experimenting and Practicing
Consistent practice was vital to improving your photography skills. The more you play with different techniques, the more confident and creative we become. The training course lasted four days. We started with much of theory and concluded with much of practice. Finally, all of us supported the process of best photos selection. The last day the trainer has provided us the drafts of his proposal for a potential exhibition that could run during April, in villa MORDROCH as it has been suggested by the 5th local community of Thessaloniki's Municipality.
A Valuable Learning Experience
Georgy DRYJOHN's training course in Thessaloniki offered a wealth of knowledge for anyone eager to enhance their travel photography. By mastering composition, understanding light, and embracing the local culture, we captured stunning images that celebrate the beauty of Thessaloniki while promoting a vision of sustainability.
